Frank, a drifter, arrives at a remote garage‑truck stop owned by the kind‑hearted but naive Nick Marino. Nick’s much‑younger, seductive wife Cora captivates Frank, who takes the job more to be near her than to work. Cora, despising Nick, urges Frank to help eliminate her husband, leaving the reluctant drifter torn between desire and morality.
