At the Lykkebo orphanage, Egon longs for a real family like his friend Kjell’s. Wealthy couple Gyldenløwe plans to adopt five boys, but a minor sabotage results in Egon being selected. He suddenly finds himself a rich heir with a swimming pool and a large house, unaware that Gyldenløwe has paid a million dollars for the dossiers on Egon Olsen.
