Helen learns a runaway engine threatens an excursion train sharing the line. She hops on a motorcycle, races along the track to warn the passengers, then plunges into a river when a damaged trestle blocks her path. Swimming to the opposite bank, she flags the train just in time, prompting the engineer to divert onto a siding moments before the wild engine rushes by.
