During the Korean War, Lieutenant Sam Pryor leads his platoon on a dangerous mission escorting Greek troops on a reconnaissance behind Communist lines. Proud of his Greek heritage at first, Pryor’s respect turns to mistrust after what he sees as cowardice by the Greeks, causing heavy losses to his men. The two forces form an uneasy alliance as they learn the enemy’s true objective.
