Bastian, a journalist, and Lene, a press photographer, are a couple working on stories for the magazine “Tit og Lyt.” To secure an apartment, they pose as husband and wife so Bastian can rent it. Lene, in love with him, asks their friend Soren to involve a housing‑authority official, who insists they must have a child to stay.
