Sammo Hung portrays three generations—Fatty, his father, and his grandfather Hung Kau. Fatty, a hotel employee longing for quick wealth, drags a coworker into the gambling underworld, much to his father's dismay. After hitting rock bottom, the ghost of his murdered grandfather returns to guide him, driving Fatty to pursue relentless revenge for the killing.
