Tom steals a fresh‑baked chicken drumstick, but hands it to Jerry just as Mammy is about to catch him, letting Tom seem heroic while still keeping the food. Angered, Jerry seeks revenge by repeatedly stealing Spike’s prized bone and framing Tom. He bores a hole, inserts a bolt and tricks Tom into swallowing a magnet, causing the bone to bounce back to Tom even through a fence. In the chase, Tom runs with Spike, and a hidden Jerry in a tin can gets dragged along.
