Tom resumes his chase of Jerry, who darts into the bulldog Tyke’s doghouse. Inside, the sleeping Tyke shares the space with his father, Spike. Mistaking the puppy for a toy, Tom grabs Tyke, prompting Spike to warn him to stay away. Jerry learns staying close to the boy protects him, but Tom remains determined to catch the mouse.
