After spending a long time observing the Folies Bergères dancers, a fireman goes for a drink. Once intoxicated, his mind drifts back to the performers, and he begins to hallucinate nude dancers everywhere—in the subway, on a streetcar, and even back at the fire station—creating an unending parade of imagined images.
