After years in hiding, the homunculus returns, spreading discord. He befriends an orphan girl, brings her to Rudolf’s home, and plans to pair them to breed a race. He kidnaps her to an isle, but Rudolf discovers identity and attacks. In retaliation, he destroys the island, killing the couple, horrifying Edgar Rodin, who renounces him, threatening death.
