A scientist is plagued by recurring dreams in which a shadowy tribunal has condemned him to death for an unknown crime, implicating his wife and friends in a conspiracy. As the visions intensify, he can no longer tell whether the threat is merely a nightmare or an actual reality, leaving his sanity hanging in the balance.
