After witnessing a brutal hit, Arandir, a newly married banker, attempts to help the victim. Before dying, the man makes a final, unexpected request: a kiss. Arandir fulfills this request, but his actions are captured in a photograph by tabloid reporter Amado Ribeiro and observed by his father-in-law, Aprígio, leading to unforeseen consequences.
