Harry Reynolds can charm anything, but after leaving jail he heads to the down‑beat coastal town of Beachport, drawn by a legend of a buried Portuguese treasure ship. The con man plans to exploit the myth, yet his schemes change when he bonds with a young boy and his mother. The film blends greed, gullibility and grand plans into a family‑friendly romantic comedy.
