This surge in popularity has resulted in the overfishing of key ingredients like bluefin tuna, impacting oceanic predator populations. The film explores the ecological consequences of this rapid expansion, highlighting the depletion of fish stocks and the potential disruption to the delicate balance of marine ecosystems, which could ultimately threaten countless species.
