Logan, a high school senior under pressure to attend a good college, is grounded after taking his dad's Porsche to impress Lina. He is ordered to pick up his grandfather's Rolex watch before his parents depart on a cruise. This setup pushes him toward a reckless plan to leave for Mexico with his friend Blake.

Logan and Blake fly to Mexico, chasing a chance to escape parental expectations. A streetwise cab driver named Chuy befriends them and helps secure a place to stay after their hotel reservation turns out to be a scam. Chuy's hospitality sets the chaotic adventure in motion.

In a nightclub, Logan tries to flirt with a drunken Lina, who ends up vomiting in his mouth as they kiss. The night introduces Gaby, a Mexican girl who shares his taste in music and gives the club DJ a USB labeled 'DJ Phantom'. The trio bonds over music and opportunity.

The next morning, Blake is shocked to learn Mona is actually a trans woman, and he leaves in a hurry. Logan wakes to Gaby leaving and asks for $300 for the night, only to discover his Rolex is missing. The loss tightens the group's scramble for money and answers.
