A Thai woman, determined to avoid a job in Bangkok’s red‑light district, moves in with an overweight expatriate and settles into a dull, predictable routine that offers little excitement. Their fragile peace shatters when a provincial mafia hitman arrives, bringing lethal violence and uneasy tension. His presence forces the pair to confront a hidden underworld and the stark reality that their mundane lives have been a thin veil over danger.
