Tse’s confrontation with Dai Mah turns into an undercover operation where she secretly records Dai Mah’s confession that Rambo murdered the bodies found in the truck, revealing Rambo’s brutality. Tse then betrays Dai Mah by turning informer for the FBI, gathering evidence against her. In the climax, the FBI arrests Dai Mah at Rambo’s wedding, and a shootout ensues with Rambo firing at police and likely dying in the chaos. In the final moments, Tse escapes the crime world but chooses not to reconnect with her daughter, believing her safety is more important. Instead, she stays in New York as a guardian angel watching over her from a distance, having successfully outmaneuvered her enemies and secured her freedom. The ending underscores her survival instinct and the tragic cost of her journey, leaving her in a place where she can protect her daughter without risking her life again.
