When imperial guards are ordered to kill Hsiung Chih’s family, the young hero survives, rescues a swordsman and flees to Shaolin Temple. There he meets Priest Wu Yun, the Drunk Monk, and learns the Drunken Style while seeking revenge. The film features wushu choreography and drunken boxing, highlighted by a duel regarded as among best on screen.
