The film presents two one‑act plays that examine love and loneliness. In “Table by the Window,” an aging fashion model engineers a reunion with her ex‑husband, a disgraced politician, sparking renewed passion. In “Table Number Seven,” a shy woman secretly loves a man accused of fraud and sexual offenses, forcing her to finally stand up for herself.
