Fleeing a sudden proposal in front of her family, Marie retreats to the countryside to contemplate her future. As she seeks solitude, her innermost thoughts manifest as tangible figures, including her mother, past lovers, and a poetic storyteller. Her fiancé eventually arrives, bringing his own emotional baggage and prompting a profound exploration of honesty and self-discovery within a relationship. This surreal and visually striking debut from director Zora Rux examines the complexities of love and the search for identity.
