Rosario and Carlos are a married couple in a theatre troupe. Their play features a jealous climax where Rosario’s character must fire a blank at Carlos. While Carlos is secretly seeing fellow actress Zulma, the prop gun is switched. On opening night, the real gun fires and Rosario unintentionally kills Carlos.
