In a vibrant, chaotic Rome, Al is a dreamer whose aspirations for rock and roll success crumble before his eyes. A twist of fate then presents him with a phone containing evidence of a crime, and drawing on his love for noir stories, he decides to investigate. He crosses paths with Betty, a spirited young woman also searching for her place, and together they navigate a complex mystery that proves more dangerous than they initially thought.
