They’re not quiet. They’re not peaceful. They’re not women. Young aristocrat Anthony Raine returns from India to find Pembrokeshire’s farmers protesting the Whitman Turnpike Trust tolls, overseen by the drunken Lord Sarn. Donning a mask as Rebecca, he commands his men to dress as women and storm the toll gates, delivering a victory for the common folk over their oppressive masters.
