During the COVID-19 lockdown in Lima, Ramón, a gay man, receives the ashes of his estranged father and decides to return them to his father’s hometown in the Andean highlands. Unable to hold a proper funeral, he embarks on a journey that unexpectedly leads him to Mateo, a traveler also affected by the pandemic. As they navigate curfews and social distancing, a unique connection develops between the two men.
