This film chronicles the remarkable four-year encounter between a polar bear mother named Frost and Norwegian wildlife filmmaker Asgeir Helgestad in the remote Arctic region of Svalbard. As rising temperatures cause unprecedented ice melt, the filmmakers document the dramatic changes impacting Frost’s fragile ecosystem. Svalbard's landscape shifts from perpetual darkness to the bright midnight sun, influencing the local flora and fauna. The disappearing sea ice forces Frost to seek new habitats, pushing her to the limits of survival. The film raises a poignant question about humanity’s responsibility to protect our planet.
