The royal procession is stranded near Kali Pahari as Raja Harimaan Singh searches for his missing daughter Rupali. Rupali wanders into the ruins of an old fortress and is seized by Samri. He mesmerises her and drains her life-force, causing her eyes to turn milky white while his own eyes flash blood red. The king orders Samri captured, fearing what he has unleashed.

Samri is brought to trial for crimes committed to please demonic masters. The rajpurohit suggests burning as purification, but Raja Harimaan Singh insists on a harsher sentence. Samri is condemned to decapitation, his head to be kept in a strong-box and his body buried behind the old Kalighat temple. The curse is uttered as the sentence is sealed.

Samri is decapitated and his head is removed from his body. The head is placed in a strong-box inside the Raja's haveli while the body is buried behind the Kalighat temple. The ritual binds the curse to the royal line, promising catastrophe whenever the head remains apart from the body.

Samri proclaims that as long as his head lies away from his body, every woman in the Raja's line will die at childbirth. When the head is rejoined to the body, he vows to wipe out the entire dynasty. The words echo through the palace as the guards exchange uneasy glances.

Decades pass and the princely states merge into the Indian republic. Samri disappears from memory, but his legend persists within the Harimaan Singh line. The curse is passed down from father to son, a dark secret shaping generations of the family.

In the present day, Thakur Ranvir Singh resides in the city with his family. His wife dies in childbirth, and their daughter Suman is born. Suman grows up as a college student, unaware of the ancient curse looming over her family.

Suman falls in love with Sanjay, a non-royal suitor whom the Thakur disapproves of due to birth. Sanjay remains steadfast by her side, defying the familial opposition. The couple contends with pressure from the estate while staying devoted to each other.

The Thakur finally reveals the centuries-old curse haunting the family and their bloodline. Realizing the danger, Suman and Sanjay decide to confront the ancient evil rather than back down. They prepare to travel to Bijapur to seek answers and a possible remedy.

A painting of Raja Harimaan Singh in the haveli seems to shift its gaze whenever Suman looks at it, revealing the eerie likeness of Samri. The uncanny sight signals that the curse's power remains active. This supernatural sign spurs the group to press forward.

Anand and Sapna help by smashing the wall behind the painting, uncovering a strong-box containing Samri's head. The group misreads the discovery as a former soldier's remains and contemplates sealing the wall again the next day. The moment raises the stakes of their treasure-hunt and the danger of disturbing the curse.

Treasure-hunter Sanga stumbles upon Samri's head and is hypnotised into bringing it to the body behind the old temple. The head reunites with the body, restoring Samri to full power and setting the stage for renewed slaughter.

Samri begins a murderous rampage, targeting the descendants of Raja Harimaan Singh. Misunderstandings and fear grip the town as people fall prey to the bloodthirsty menace. Thakur Ranvir Singh arrives but finds himself unable to defeat the demon.

People seek refuge at the temple and perform an aarti to Lord Shiva for protection. Sanjay receives a divine sign that the trishul, hidden somewhere in the haveli, is the key to defeating Samri. The path to victory becomes clear, though dangerous to reach.

Sanjay and Suman return to the haveli and locate the trishul, aware that the weapon is essential to ending Samri's reign. They prepare for a final confrontation, despite Durjan's prior moves and tricks.

Sanjay traps Samri in a coffin and, wielding the trishul, drives the demon into the village square for a final battle. The demon is burned on a pyre, ending his menace at last. With the danger over, Suman and Sanjay marry, uniting the two families.
