Patrice Enard’s ‘Pourvoir’ consists largely of images of women placed in natural settings, rendered in a stark, repetitive style where angular shots both conceal and disclose. A visual poetry unfolds as lingering smoke clears, revealing a sense of sexual liberation, while subtle staging and editing nuances are woven together through Marxist and Freudian references.
