Paul, an American composer, travels to the remote desert town of Real de Catorce following the death of his father. For a decade, he has been dedicated to completing an unfinished symphony by an early twentieth-century musician. Seeking solitude to focus on his work, Paul finds himself drawn into a decades-old mystery surrounding the disappearance of a woman named Marianne. As he delves deeper, the lines between his musical pursuit and the town’s secrets begin to blur.
