Lui, a skilled street racer, juggles his illegal activities as a triad member while running an auto shop. His involvement in smuggling cocaine for Brother Bing takes a toll on his relationship with his girlfriend, Katy, leading to tension and neglect.

An acquaintance, Bad Breath, informs Lui about a rival named Chang-pau who has placed a substantial bet against him for an upcoming street race against Joe. Facing the pressure of the wager, Lui borrows HK$20,000 from Bad Breath to participate.

During the race, Lui initially leads but Joe catches up, resulting in a high-stakes confrontation on the road. The race culminates in chaos as both racers collide and a brawl breaks out between their respective crews, resulting in their arrest.

At the police station, Lui is scolded by his estranged father, a seasoned officer, for dragging his sister into his dangerous lifestyle. Tensions flare as Lui confronts his father's hypocrisy, blaming him for his descent into crime.
