American engineer Steve Corey goes to Mexico to work on a mining project owned by Katherine Beckman and her half‑brother Paul. His predecessor, Bill Maxton, warns that Katherine is “easy—just touch her and she sparks,” but Steve falls genuinely for her. Angered, Paul brings back her old flame, Gus Cole, to pull her away.
