Occupation (2018) Plot Summary & Ending Explained

In the climax of Occupation: Rainfall, the conflict reaches a devastating peak. Amelia uncovers that Commander Hayes has been conducting horrific experiments to create a bioweapon that can wipe out the aliens, revealing his ulterior motives to eliminate their alien allies as well. This betrayal prompts a swift response from Abraham, who takes command and takes Hayes out of power. As chaos erupts, the aliens launch a brutal attack on their secret base, leading to a fierce fight. During the chaos, Amelia confronts Hayes and ends his life in a desperate struggle, suffocating him with his own bioweapon. With Hayes dead and the base destroyed, Captain Wessex quickly orders an evacuation, and Amelia, along with the surviving humans and some aliens, escapes before the base is obliterated by fire.

Meanwhile, Matt and his team try to prevent the meteorite—the alien weapon—from falling into the wrong hands.
