Wealthy widow Mrs. Bramson observes that her maid seems distracted, learning that the maid’s fiancé, Danny, is the cause. She calls Danny to the house. Meanwhile, Mrs. Bramson’s niece Olivia becomes attracted to Danny and begins to suspect he may be linked to the recent disappearance of a local woman.
