Adam Vance, a publicist, is campaigning for a Japanese client while his wife Jennifer stays emotionally distant after being raped a year earlier. Colleague Ray urges him to try the erotic chat site cyberchat.net, where he meets Angel, a seductive hacker. As Adam pursues the virtual affair, his wife visits her rapist in prison for therapy, and Adam is stalked and blackmailed by a deranged killer.
