Carlo, the responsible brother, must deal with his wayward sister Silvia when she returns after years for their mother’s funeral. Her many love affairs create turmoil, and Carlo reluctantly agrees to retrieve the baby she left at a Hungarian children’s home. Silvia then abandons both Carlo and the infant after becoming involved with a British rock star.
