Adapted from Ray Loriga’s novel, the film follows a young man who, after shooting a mall security guard who accused him of theft, steals a car to flee. He encounters a troubled young woman with suicidal tendencies who, despite her darkness, is drawn to him. Together they embark on a road‑trip seeking purpose and meaning in their lives.
