Mr Joe B. Carvalho

Joe B. Carvalho, a slightly below-average corny private eye, is on the lookout for a truly challenging case that could bring him money and fame. This quest is what drives the plot and pulls him into a dangerous, chaotic pursuit. His search for a fortune begins in Mumbai.

General Kopa Bhalerao Kabana enlists the international terrorist Carlos to derail Gehna's wedding to Naidu. MK is drawn into the plan, but he resents the contract’s outcome and would rather kill Carlos. The scheme sets off a chain of pursuits and counter-moves across the city.

Inspector Shantipriya Phadnis is assigned by her boss to track Carlos and prevent him from stopping the wedding. A spy in Kopa's meeting is killed by Carlos, escalating the chase. Her boss also installs spy cams in MK's house to monitor Carlos, while Malik is hired to eliminate him.

Khurana hires Joe to find his eloped daughter Neena and provides the hotel address with room 99. Joe misreads the room number as 66, setting the stage for a fateful coincidence. Carlos checks into the same hotel, using room 66 and a disguise as a sexy woman.

Shantipriya rushes to Carlos's hotel with her team to locate him. MK orders Malik to eliminate Carlos. In the ensuing chaos, Malik attacks Joe thinking he is Carlos, and Shantipriya's unit kills Malik; the real Carlos is injured and loses his memory.

Joe ends up in Carlos's hotel room after the confusion and is mistaken for the fugitive. MK and Shantipriya close in, both believing he is Carlos and pursuing him.

Joe and Neena trace another lead to a nightclub where Neena is seen with Gehna. Carlos, now at the club as a bartender, regains his memory after an electric shock and confronts Joe, but ends up killing MK's man instead of Joe.

MK suffers a heart attack while Kopa visits him. Carlos, disguising himself as MK's nurse, realizes that Joe is now seen as Carlos and suspects the 15 million contract on Gehna. Police spy cams in MK's bedroom bring Gehna into the loop as the wedding is moved to a secret Goa location.

Shanti decides to fake her love for Joe and travels with him to Goa to ensure the wedding goes ahead. Carlos's stuff carries a neutron bomb, and Shanti carries a bomb detector that tracks it to Joe's backpack. The bomb is disguised as a necklace and will be triggered by pressing a pen 50 times.

Joe heads to the marriage court with Neena and Gehna, while Gehna is about to give birth. Carlos, MK, and Khurana arrive and Khurana reveals that Joe is not a contract killer but a failed detective. Shanti's plan continues while Kopa appears at the scene with Joe's mother.

In the chaos of the ceremony, Joe uses his martial arts skills to fight off the assembled adversaries. The neutron bomb inside the necklace is activated and begins its countdown toward destruction. The crowd fights to escape as the clock ticks down.

As the bomb reaches its critical moment, Kopa throws himself onto the blast, absorbing the explosion to save Joe and Shanti. The impending disaster is averted, and Joe and Shanti survive the ordeal. The wedding plot closes on a note of bravery and sacrifice.
