Mona, Pierre's girlfriend, watches as his lackluster French rock band struggles for recognition. When charismatic singer Johnny Valentine, the band's idol, notices Mona's neglect, he sets his sights on her, determined to make her his own. The tension between artistic ambition and personal desire swirls around the trio.
