In the remote Ukrainian village of Rudivka, a rumor spreads that the Second Coming is imminent and the Messiah is already in the area. The locals believe the twin brothers are a single person, and fear intensifies when one is murdered. Convinced supernatural forces are at work, villagers take justice into their own hands, leading to violent acts and grave consequences.
