Mickey prepares to conduct an opera, sending Pluto away. The dog crashes into a backstage magician’s set, tangling with the hat, its rabbits and doves. As the show begins, Clarabelle plays flute while Clara and Donald star as Romeo and Juliet. Pluto chases the hat onto the stage, irritating Mickey. The hat lands in a tuba, and animals fill the stage.
