In the 1990s, two brothers were implicated in the disturbing murders of eight women, one man, and a child in the Serra dos Órgãos region. As Sergeant Téo observes the intense media scrutiny and societal judgment surrounding the trial, he begins to question the fairness of the proceedings and suspects systemic racism may have influenced the conviction of one of the brothers. Inspired by the notorious “Necrophil Brothers” case, this film presents a fictionalized account exploring the complexities of the legal system and the impact of prejudice.
