A liberal‑thinking author observes his wife trying to seduce his best friend during a dinner party. She soon takes another man, while the author begins an affair with another guest. The three men and two women become tangled in a series of partner‑swapping encounters, forcing each of them to confront their morals amid the sexual revolution.
