How far would you go? In 1997, young mechanic Iván lives in a bleak eastern Hungarian village, caring for his mentally disabled sister Eszter while earning extra cash smuggling diesel from Ukraine. Their fragile existence shatters when Eszter is raped, sparking a police investigation. Amid the turmoil Iván starts a relationship with Ilus, a recent school graduate planning university, and dreams of leaving his oppressive life behind.
