Set during the 1977 Edinburgh Film Festival, two low‑budget directors scramble for financing, cast and the famed Sam Fuller to helm their Aberdeen‑set oil‑boom adventure “Gulf and Western.” Their quest brings them into contact with cinema legends such as Wim Wenders, Stephen Frears, John Boorman, Bill Forsyth and Alan Bennett.
