A writer retreats to an island resort and becomes involved with a teenage girl staying with her parents and a scheming friend. She alternates naked dances, sudden costume changes, and flirtations with an American, driven more by insecurity than malice. When his wife, Barbara Bouchet, appears, he ends the affair, but the girl’s jealousy fuels a relentless pursuit.
