Searching for a sense of belonging, Harold goes to a nightclub where Jenny and Lilac, two punks, dance with him. They show him kindness and invite him along to buy marijuana from their friends, pulling him toward a new, dangerous social circle. They eventually head to an abandoned factory where the true plan unfolds.

At the abandoned factory, TJ and Leelee are revealed to be among the friends. Harold is beaten by the group, deepening his sense of injustice and pushing him toward a violent plan for revenge. The factory scene marks a turning point from frustration to action.

Harold returns to Sally's house and lures Jeff outside by pretending to be a cat. He decapitates Jeff and then enters Sally's home, placing Jeff's severed head on her bed and pouring acid on her face. The brutal act marks a decisive shift from despair to murder.

The vengeful path takes Harold to his mother's house, where he binds her and reveals a history of abuse by her. He forces her to drink bleach and chops her head with a cleaver, delivering a chilling, devastating blow to his family’s trauma. This act underscores the depth of his rage.

Harold returns to the factory to finish off his bullies. He stabs Lilac, knocks Jenny unconscious and slashes her stomach, and ties TJ and Leelee up with dynamite strapped to their heads. He forces TJ to declare himself, then detonates the device, blowing up the pair as he departs.
