Babu (Sreenivasan) is a small‑time magician known as Prof. Rangoonwalla, scraping by with odd shows. He reluctantly hires pickpocket Raju (Jayaram) as his assistant. During the trick ‘The Vanishing Beauty’, neighbour Sridevi (Geetha Vijayan) accidentally brings a woman (Sobhana) onto the stage, ruining the act. They flee the angry crowd, confront her, and become entangled in her mysterious affairs.
