Just Before Dawn

Two men venture into a dense and eerie forest, ignited by curiosity. As they delve deeper into the woods, they stumble upon an abandoned church, which piques their interest but foreshadows the dark events to come.

While exploring, one of the men is suddenly attacked by a deranged figure wearing a checkered jacket. The brutal assault leaves him with a machete wound, incapacitating him and sending the other man fleeing in terror.

Meanwhile, park ranger Roy McLean remains oblivious to the lurking danger in the forest. He is at home, unaware that a group of teenagers is about to embark on a camping adventure that will lead them to peril.

A van filled with five spirited teenagers begins their ill-fated journey into the woods despite Roy's warning to turn back. The group, excited about their trip, includes Warren, Constance, Jonathon, Megan, and Daniel.

The group encounters Ty, who is frantic and dirty, desperately warning them about the dangers ahead. However, the teenagers dismiss his pleas and continue deeper into the forest, further sealing their fate.

The teenagers find their campsite and begin to settle in, indulging in beer, food, and music. They are completely oblivious to the sinister presence lurking in the shadows, ready to strike.

The teens take a trip to a nearby waterfall where they encounter a young girl named Merry Logan. Merry's sudden departure only heightens their sense of dread about the dark presence in the woods.

As Megan and Jonathon enjoy a moment of skinny-dipping in the lake, Megan feels hands on her waist. Believing it's Jonathon, she panics when she realizes he is on the shore, launching herself to safety.

Jonathon spots Merry in the woods and chases after her, trying to reassure her of his harmless intentions. However, his pursuit leads him face-to-face with a deranged twin wielding a machete, resulting in a fatal encounter.

Megan and Daniel stumble upon the abandoned church and its graveyard, where a panic ensues. Daniel mistakes an approaching figure for Jonathon, pushing Megan aside, only to be fatally stabbed by the true predator.

Warren and Constance regroup at their campsite, where they discover Jonathon’s lifeless body floating in the river. They are overcome with panic and decide to search for the others, but find no trace.

Ty finally encounters Roy and desperately reports the existence of killer twins haunting the church. Roy, determined to save the teenagers, sets out on horseback, the looming danger now clear.

Warren embarks on a frantic quest for Jonathon's body, which leads him back to the camp. During this time, Constance is suddenly attacked by one of the twins, forcing her to flee and seek safety up a tree.

Just in time, Roy arrives at the campsite and shoots the attacker threatening Constance. As they prepare to escape with Warren, a new wave of fear washes over them as they realize they still need to evade the remaining threat.

The climax erupts at the campsite when the other twin ambushes Warren, attempting to kill Constance. In a surprising turn, Constance fights back fiercely, ultimately overpowering the attacker, amidst the chilling mimics of the twins echoing in the forest.
