Set on a cotton plantation in Puerto Rico, tensions rise as the enslaved population grows increasingly restless and defiant. The owner, Mr. Jones, struggles to maintain control, finding that attempts to suppress the resistance with force only exacerbate the situation. He now faces the threat of losing not only his plantation but also his own safety as the rebellion intensifies.
