The film follows Janosik, the famed Central European “Robin Hood”, based on 18th‑century documents and legend. Scarred by war and a broken romance, the young outlaw joins a band of brigands, rising to command through bravery and honor, never killing those he robs. His fame draws women admiration but also sparks envy in the ruthless brigand Huncaga.
