Inspired by the songs of Evert Taube, the film follows sailor and notorious womanizer Fritiof Andersson during a midsummer celebration in Roslagen’s archipelago. Having returned to marry his fiancée Linnea, Andersson encounters the enchanting Rosa on the dance floor, sparking a nostalgic romance.
